Well I for one would have been happy to get the notice instead of not getting a package and having be muddling in the sh-- left over.
What a joke.
I give it 3 - 6 months before they shut it all down.

I was targeted for a layoff at my last company. My ratings were excellent, and so were those of others that were targeted. I hope those going through this can reach a point where they see that it is best for them to not let events beyond their control grind them up. It's hard to work thorough, but try to stay positive, things will work out eventually.

This has left me and my family in complete turmoil and disarray. My ratings were excellent. Yes, I realize this had nothing to do with ratings however it still hurts. I have nothing in hand yet and I’m not sure what the future holds. Everyone says be positive and that’s well and good however the ground reality is something else.
I gave this place my blood and sweat and look what I got in return. Unbelievable. Feeling extremely disappointed and miserable to be perfectly honest.
Hopefully I find something soon.

OP - let's put emphasis on some server employees! Reality of the situation on the ground is not always that rosy. In the sudden rush in the aftermath of this mess, companies came in a just a few got jobs. That does not really covers most employees. Life ain't a cakewalk. Long slog ahead for most to get a job in their preferred location so as not to disrupt their family.
Let us not kid ourselves!!
