Strange, even I realized there is none from a top ranking university. After SM became ceo, virginia tech and michigan is where most ppl are hired from. Sad! Even layoffs never target them. Saw so many top performing engineers from top universities affected. No one values talent at Q anymore!
Some VPs heavily hired bright nobility from mindlance, LnT, wipro etc as contractors, made them slog with the carrot for fulltime and then rolled them over. I joined after grad school and on my team most of the clowns are bright nobility.
"snuck in"? they were purposely hired by the H1B managers that Qc hired in to run things --- inexpensively! they were simply recruited in once the H1B managers got ingrained to the Qc household. nothing special - just another type of nepotism that Qc is infamous for.
OP : your question reveals a total lack of grasp of the high tech workforce. No wonder Q is in this situation with dummies like you on payroll. You seem to be part of the new Q logo team. Straighten the Q line fist - it was an iconic symbol.
