I have been out of the office for a week because of vacation. Has anybody heard anything about layoffs coming? I just need to be prepared.

You want see the next round until July if we keep up the current pattern ( in CLEC) .We had one in October then January then April. Seems to be every three months. However I’m not sure how many more they can cut in operations, it seems we are running thin as it is. I know I am behind because of the lack of head count. And on another note... I Keep seeing ILEC people posting they are the money makers, but the market I work in CLEC profiveds all the bandwidth for ILEC which they don’t pay for. We give it to them, I just turned up another lag group for IP TV last week coming off CLEC equipment last week. So how are we in the red? If ILEC had to pay for it the tables would be turned!
