From what I heard Q froze the PERM process for green card b/c of the layoff?
I got H1B just now.
Not sure if I should start visiting leetcode.com right now.

PERM rules that the application must be frozen if an American person was laid off in the same job capacity AND within the same metro area as the H1B guy. That freeze time is 180 days after layoffs.
Other than that don't even think about filing with Qualcomm -- it is a leaky boat and chances are that you will be thrown off-board in one of the n-th rounds of layoffs before you could get your hands on your tarjeta verde.

Call legal or immigration attys that are working on your case or employees. Why on earth would you ask specific questions on here like this and expect to get anything but racist nonsensical replies?

With so many American citizens laid off how can one expect perm or green card processing to be done or being started by Qualcomm.
