Is there a new policy on how many days an employee can miss? Thanks

Service manager here. My store manager and HR let associates do whatever they want without being reprimanded. If they don’t like someone they follow up on it, otherwise attendance is a joke. I have an employee who chooses not to show up because they have to babysit for someone or something stupid that DAY OF prevents them from coming in. As long as you call they don’t seem to care.
Leave early come in late it doesn't matter. They can't keep any one cause they know Lowe's is crap. They don't even try to care any more..
Just work when you wanna; my store is so hard up for help we’ll take any one at any time.
