From what we know, India was hit last week. I haven't heard of anything else being hit but I might be wrong in that.
I'm always scared that India layoffs are just an intro round, and that more will follow in America soon after. Any indication of that this time around? Should we be worried?

I am going to join Avaya as part of cloud unite (my company was different but due to acquisition now i need to join avaya) but not sure about the Background verfication they do here. I am joinging in pune. Please guide i have done through Global sanctions & enforcement is there any thing else they do?
Also i am scared with these layoff... one thing right top bosses are too old that can't adjust new people.
Even appraisals are not happening in June they are claiming it's moved to July but not sure it's myths or real? Sad due to bad MGMT in India.
It's very quite here in Germany. It's sad to know about Pune site. I think focus might be again on India rather than EU. Few new people joined Germany, few in UK and Ireland is hiring around 30+ engineers at different levels. So these three sites seems sound.
