No Microsoft exec in synergy keynote

https://www.citrix.com/blogs/2018/05/04/google-cloud-heads-to-citrix-synergy-2018/

Google Cloud COO is another proof of the dying Citrix-Microsoft partnership.

Does anyone know why the love affair is no more active?

It’s going to be strange not having Microsoft brad Petersen represent the partnership at synergy.

Would be the first time in many years there is no Microsoft alliance partner in the main stage at synergy. Shows how much the relationship has fallen apart.

The Microsoft Citrix partnership is alive and well.

Microsoft is still the master and Citrix is the servant. Same as it ever was.

KT was hired as CEO to pimp Citrix to MS. They said if we can partner with you why should we buy you. Citrix is way to expensive. Then they started creating competing products. This is the MO for MS. It’s how they play. The main play for Citrix is frontending MS Office. Once MS sees an opportunity they will take the play for themselves. Citrix shut down the Redmond office. No one is left working on MS.

The Google partnership is nothing more than marketing fluff. All of the work has to be done by the customers. It’s nothing more than Citrix and Google encouraging customers to deploy Citrix on Google Cloud Platform.
