If somebody who was caught in one of the last layoff rounds still visits this board, do you mind sharing how long it took to receive your severance?
One of the guys I used to work with claims on Facebook he still hasn't received his, and his last day was nearly three months ago. Is it possible kit takes that long? Or is he simply trying to score sympathy points?
How much did you get for each year of services?
I was let go Nov 2016 as well. Got paid through January 6th as normal and then right after that the severance came into the bank account. So basically you'll get the severance right after your last paid day at work, not your last day OF work. Nice really since I started a new job right after the new year.
I was let go in Nov 2016, and all of the termination process went as defined in the exit interview...
