Why layoffs happen on Tuesdays

We know from experience that most (not all, mind you) layoffs take place or at least start on Tuesdays. I finally found a decent explanation on why that's the case, and I thought other folks might be interested as well.

it happens on Tuesday in Blono cause it takes all those heffers a few days to pack up all their desk snacks and waddle them down to their cars....
