STLs undermining SOPs

Does your STL run around moving sh--? Ours is a nice person, but they undermine all of our SOPs and puts us at risk for failing OTS audits. They constantly fill holes with product where they are not supposed to go, throws sh-- into display freezers without dating product, and generally creates havoc on the floor in an attempt to make it look good. As a TL it is embarrassing to train someone just to have the STL undo things right in front of them

This is one of the reasons I ended up quitting as a triple team, team leader. My STL would constantly move stuff around without letting us know. Take down stuff from end caps that were required for promo periods. Leave carts in the back of the house full of stuff after moving stuff around. When dairy vegan case had a lot of UNFI out of stocks, my STL wanted us to remove the tags and spread what we had out. DID NOT HELP US COMPLY WITH OTS with my 3 teams. I constantly had to let my STL know that these things are making us fail fail fail in regional's eyes. Our regional merchandiser even saw how hard I was trying to comply while my stl was ignoring the specific OTS guidelines. It was causing me so much stress.

Yes. Ours leaves stuff in shopping carts, freezers/coolers on wrong shelves and builds crappy displays without signage, not to mention removing product that must be up per merchandising grid and takes absolutely zero responsibility for any of it, thinks he’s helping but is really just screwing things up, major control freak micro manager in the SW Region Dallas area.
