TT and execs are a problem - but they have a Board that seems to be rubber-stamping the decisions. Do not understand why TT has not been fired - his performance is the worst. He is suitable for an accounting job - not a real leader. And yes, they are raiding the company coffers - it's a take everything you can get (and get some for your buddies) before it's over mentality.
Get out. I did. I wasn't going to be TT slave. And we all know they read and post on here. Its simple
They do not care
Terrible news of the Kentucky manager, sadly who's next ? There's so much stress at this company effecting many lives. Attention Windstream University: assign TT and his lip service team * how to treat your team with respect * training. We keep buying more companies and losing more people. It's the do more with less mentality.
So sorry to hear about the Kentucky manager...prayers to the family. “People first”....that is where this company went wrong when they disrespect and devalued their employees. Such a shame!
I am always so amazed at how surprised everyone sounds on this site. The financial information from the Arkansas Business article is just the tip of the iceberg. TT however, getting rich at the expense and well being of others is a big problem for me. People come first....not money! May GOD bless the family of the Kentucky manger that took his/her own life today. It breaks my heart that a fellow employee was in such pain and there was no one able help.
I'll state it again......People come first!!
"This is not a prison. You can leave anytime." F&#K YOU TT!!! How dare you childishly respond to any post on your own personal pseudo social network site. Hell.....what do you have to be upset about...everyone kisses your %ss constantly. At least have the fortitude to endure a little editorial discomfort. Only a person with no humanity would make such a comment on a company based website. I saw the posts that TT was referring to and yes they were not positive.......because there is nothing positive to say about the enormous load of horse s@#$ that this man has caused. Kudos to those employees that participated in that debate. There have been many many posts on this site that glorify the idea of leaving the company for greener pastures. "Get out while you can", "life is better after Windstream", are the type of comments some have made. I have to say that I would love to agree with those folks......except that there are not greener pastures for the majority of us. There is a huge number of us that occupy positions that are not readily available in our respective areas. CST's, BST's, & Network Techs, in Texas & New Mexico generally reside in mostly small rural areas that are usually isolated geographically. Windstream is the "only game in town" in most of the wire centers in these two states so there is no competition to go to, and there are generally NO other jobs to be had that come close to the pay scale that we receive from Windstream. Yes, these are all bargaining positions and I do not apologize for being in a union, but that is not the point. The point is that there aren't other jobs to go to......and most definitely not jobs that pay more money as described by so many of the folks that have left Windstream......either by choice or by a RIF. Believe me when I say that if there were a better or even remotely better job to go to......I would have been gone long ago.
Excluding the executive branch, EVERYONE that currently works for Windstream is SUFFERING in some way or another. I am happy that things are good in some of the northern & eastern states, and I am equally discouraged and aggravated that MOST of the other areas are in turmoil. Moving entire departments overseas and forcing employees, and our customers to endure the torturous process of trying to communicate with someone that does not speak English is never a good idea for any business. I don't know what our customers that speak only Spanish are supposed to do.
I don't know if Windstream will survive, but everyone of the men & women named in the Arkansas Business article will. It's the way corporate America works.....and until all of us decide to vote for our jobs instead of our social & religious views this fact will not change. All I want to do is go to work and do the job that I was hired to do. I don't want to sit around doing nothing, but I'm tired of having my integrity, work ethic, & skills questioned every time I take longer than expected to complete a trouble ticket or service order.
Totally disgusting...so the company overall is spiraling out of control and all the executives are making more in salary and bonuses while the employees are working their butts off get nothing except worker harder with less....and YES I am one that chose to leave this Company, on my own! Windstream is a terrible place to work so if you are still employed at this company...get OUT...you will be much more appreciated elsewhere!
Talk to a human resource coworker friend today and she informed me of an alarming stat that just came in. She didn't give me numbers but in the first three months of 2018 saw a record number of employees hand in their 2 weeks notice - no layoff, separation package or retirement. Just finding better opportunities out there. Losing lots of talented people. So it must be true, the doors aren't locked.
they are laughing all the way to to the bank. while we suffer from inadequate pay and stability as a company the C-level folks enjoy the spoils.
If TT really believes in this company he would be paid in stock...or should I say windstream shares. I bet things would be different and the moral would be much improved. Really shocked the board keeps this cat in charge. Somebody is definitely getting buffaloed by lip service.
I don't know how these people sleep at night. Let's systematically lay people off by the thousands, not give anyone below director a legitimate raise or bonus, slash our benefits by shifting the majority of the cost to employees, and then tell all of our line members to kick rocks when it comes to their raises and bonuses.... for the 3rd or 4th year in a row (for me anyways). Didn't corporations get a substantial tax break this year? It's nice to see how that has trickled down.....
I saw a documentary of a study showing most corporate ceos have a cynical nature and thats how they rise to to top so to speak. This is disgusting. He fits the description.
This is disgusting, but typical of these scumbags.
This is not a prison. You can leave anytime.*
*unless you plan to join a company that we have threatened with legal action for hiring our employees. In that case please return to your cell and cut the drivel.
A great leader would have NOT taken a raise after telling the company they don't get one. He did exactly the opposite. Profited at the expense of his employees. He needs to be removed from office. He has taken this company to new lows...and we will never recover.
this guy really needs a pr consultant or something. Every couple months it's some kind of slap in the face
I’m glad the raise they took from me went to a good cause.
Can you believe the nerve of the executive management??? The rest of the company doesn't get ANY raises, and they give themselves $1M in raises. It is TOTAL BS! And I guarantee we won't get raises again this year, and TT and his posse will take home the profits.
