@tld Because Europe sued Qcom for 1.2 billion over anti-trust stuff. The US has never done something like that to Qcom. Apple knows they can come out with paying less royalties if they do court in UK.
Apple is gunna eventually pay the royalties. It's just a matter of how much they're going to pay that they're arguing rn.
Why would Apple switch to UK court, even a portion of their lawsuit? They must not be too confident with a favorable outcome in the US?

Funny to think that probably 90% of all Qcoms employees dont partake or even stay up to date in the drama. Heck, I've been trolling this site for awhile and Ill be honest, I dont work at qcom. This is just the most active one lol
