Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Break it down

At one time they were the only game in town. This led to people being fat and happy with 20% raises and weak standards. But then competition happened. They were left with VP's who are reactive and institute bad tech and policies. Directors who are never around and are detached from their teams. Managers who can't manage anything and are only around to get yelled at by escalated students. Workers who are complacent, saddled with bad systems and have given up in many circumstances.

There is no chance to return to past glory. One month it's academics, then the QC, the next it is finance, then operations and now enrollment. #werise

"Managers...to get yelled at by escalated students..."when they find out they've been duped for not asking the right questions and then ridiculed for not doing due diligence and finally being asked by some complete f--- in administration "so what are your allegations?"

So you do the work, get the grades, are respectful to your instructors, pay the tuition and then after subsequently being shunted to some ITT or DeVry retread are told once again: "Sorry you didn't do your due diligence and what were those allegations again, you see I'm a hard core douche bag."

Hum, yes that explains why Brian Muller was booted for a fat cat from Chicago that leads to poor systems being purchased and company s---ed dry. Brian goes to Grand Canyon and makes them a huge success while ol dips from UOP blame him for current failors. When in reality it's poor corporate management at UOP that drives the school into the ground and there is no loyalty. All the while trust and loyalty at GCU is at all time high and this local University has now surpassed UOP with total students....anybody else see how good management can make a difference? And UOP kicked this golden boy to the curb. Brilliant.
