Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

HUBS

For the life of me. Am I the only person who read the memo over five years ago that said “all operations would be moved to the Hubs?” Everyone is acting surprised that jobs are being cut. You need three things to be successful when the changes are complete - 1. Money in the bank 2. Marketable skills 3. An updated resume. Don’t wait until the last minute. This is your life - take charge! I need to believe there is life after State Farm.

Yeah, was told that State Farm was moving more employees to the field to be. Loser to our customers 3 years ago. They changed to the Hccs wccs model. Now to axe people in the field because there are too many field reps and end up with less field reps than before the ch age. All propaganda. A lot of the jobs people have been talking about don’t have anything to do with moving to the hubs.

Good luck with the crap they hire in the hubs. This company will get what they deserve. Sh--. No education needed, work for what? $30,000? The customers will get the short end again... so pathetic

Having sat in on meetings, training and brainwashing sessions as well as stood up teams in the new model, SF never said that outright, but anyone with a brain saw the writing on the wall. And to be honest, none of the hubs interests me in the least and I will find another job when my time comes
