It's common to see a Starbuck's store with a help wanted sign in the window, but it's all for show. We have one up half the time, but I've never seen anyone new hired in a year here. And I can't see why they even have a sign up, we're not in need of any new people.
A friend at another Starbuck's said they do it there too. This seems to be going on in lots of places, advertising for a job that doesn't exist.
