Question Re: Vacation Time (Unused)

Not sure if we have any posters here who quit recently but if we do would they be able to tell me what the policy is as it relates to Vacation Time if I quit on my own. If this is the case and I leave on my own, would I be able to get paid for whatever Vacation Time I have available or do I lose it?

Thanks!

Yes, they have to pay you for unused PTO no matter how you leave the company. That's money you've earned.

I quit in January and it got all paid out. Talk to your tax accountant also.

You will get paid for any Vacation you have accrued so far including any vacation time available in the Legacy bank. I had 3 months of vacation stacked up when i quit and i was paid all of it in the next paycheck cycle through the same direct deposit means that my usual paycheck used to be paid.

There was a thread on this a week ago or so... You can see it here @SbuINKO - tagging it #VacationTime #UnusedVacationTime just in case someone needs this answer in the future
