Major steps back in career after placement

Planning and Management was placed last week. After speaking with a few others I found out that I was not alone in finding myself back in a position that i had done 30 years ago just out of college for my BA. It will not use any of the skills i have accumulated over 30 years nor will it use anything from my masters. Gotta ask who was placing us?

I suspect that although your title may change back to what it was 30 years ago, SF will be more than willing to take advantage of your skills, experience, and knowledge in your new, old job, just without the title and the pay.

So... you still have a job? Sounds like it could have been worse.

PhDs in workforce psychology who work for consulting firms hired by the farm. That is who. Not too late to get a PhD yourself to avoid becoming Milton, hanging out in the basement with an orange stapler. Next step on the company's agenda is to 'fix the glitch'.
