80% Layoff

Someone mentioned 80% in this message @SbjoiY3-zkv - do you know what's this 80% refering to. I know it's not the whole company, but what groups will be hammered this bad.....

What leadership? Your immediate team manager is clueless as they are kept in the dark by their leadership. My T.m had know idea about tha proximity reduction announcement a couple weeks back as he was blindsided. This is the best source of information hands down, if you think manegement is your best source you are one of them trolling on here.

Ad Services - hmmm, that's bad... Even if they do not cut 80% they will cut 50% and that's bad in itself. I've left the company on my own in Nov 2016, I am not in the industry any more but my company has a thriving page on this site as well - I guess one cannot avoid layoffs nowadays at all.

@1aaj all what I get from my leadership is fake news. They tell me one thing which means something different in reality, and they change mind and then do something completely different. It's been like this for years, 2017 and 2018 so far are the worst years on record.

I'd venture to say that what I read on this site is so much closer to 'real situation' than anything I've heard from this self-centered and often clueless so-called leadership.

Do you really think that we'd have a thriving community such is this one on layoffs.com if we were provided quality info from our leadership? People are not stupid and there is an excellent reason why we pool our info, ask and answer, congregate and vent on this site...

Talking to management is BS! The company has treated people like crap for years. Upper level VP's come up with stupid idea's to show why they have a job and to justify their existence. I have been told by management if the customer does not understand what you are explaining about the claims process to just move on, as it is the customers problem. Also letters are often not sent on claims explaining coverage, etc. The company's only concern is #'s, #'s, #'s, and how much $'s the greedy people at the top can make before the company crashes and burns into the ocean. Bad neighbor!
