Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Chinese propaganda

China will never allow nxp deal. Qcom will lose all china market in result of retaliation. License and sales all fall together. Apple will jump on to m&a trial to pick only 5g part and dissolve all others to kill android eventually.

The only entities that openly spoke out against a Broadcom deal were chinese operators and chinese mobile phone manufacturers. Yet people still think that China somehow wanted Broadcom to buy Qualcomm, because they think Singapore is a Chinese city.

Idiots.

It does sound like you’re saying the US was right to be concerned. You make it sound like China is in collusion with others against Qualcomm. But that doesn’t seem likely.

All Chinese Mobile phone OEMs want Qualcomm to be strong. They want to more market share and beat Apple in Asian market and they need Qualcomm for it. Nixing NXP deal to retaliate would mean that China wanted the Broadcom deal and that proves CFIUS and Trump were 100% correct about the national security issue. It will make things much more tougher for China.

Quite sounds plausible to me. What google would do in that path.

Nops. China cannot afford. US can for a little bit.

Go read about import and export between China and US and it will be clear.
