Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

The times they are a changing.....

Smartspend, cutbacks, zero budget for social activities, and minuscule yearly payrises. Let’s face it, PepsiCo is no longer a ‘great place to work’. For those already at a certain level there is no incentive to work hard. Lots of colleagues are simply sitting around waiting for a payoff, knowing they won’t get paid a similar salary elsewhere.

Lot of bitterness has crept in over the years seeing how some people have been rewarded by knowing the right people and not by results. Sadly I feel we’re on a downward slope.

Just go work for Gatorade. They still spend money likes it’s growing off the trees. Five star hotels, big fancy galas to farewell employees who quit, expensive swag and Christmas gifts. They do it right!

I mean Pepsi markets sugar water and salty foods. Until the portfolio modernizes, sales will be a struggle.

Don't worry, the $3B in increased stock buybacks and 15% increase in dividends is a nice way for the company to pay the only people that actually matter to it.

Not just Pepsi, take a look around. Happening at every major(and minor)corporation in the nation.
