I see a lot of people happy about this. If you are in one of the few parts of Qualcomm that are actually profitable, you really shouldn't be happy right now.
Broadcom would have been good for Qualcomm. Broadcom is known for cutting the under-performing areas and strengthening those that actually make money (and right now carry those under-performing areas on our backs.)
This will keep the status quo for a while, before we start sinking again.
Today is really not a day to celebrate.
