About 100 employees impacted in Plano as a result of moving work to North Carolina and India. S--- A$$ company. PepsiCo was once a great place to work and have a career. Now.... People just hang out waiting for the next layoff.

Remember the Town Hall in Plano? 1 contracting agency from the 50 or 60 or so. Unless you are re-badged to TATA you are probably gone!!!
I'm training my replacement in India here in Plano, Texas...
What Cognizant jobs are you referring to? IT or sales support(Pepsi Direct))?
"ALL support jobs".... support?
I'm so glad I don't work there anymore. I could not stand the way the company treated people - layoff after layoff. Also the ops VP wanted to outsource the entire warehouse function to a 3PL. He didn't even care that it was going to cost more money - he just wanted to improve the metric of pounds/fulltime equivalent. The less people we have on payroll, the better that metric becomes. If it wasn't for the finance VP saying this was a stupid idea, they may of done it. I hated having to go through all that ridiculous HR training crap on inclusion, harassment and Org Health. No of it meant anything.
Retirement is awesome. Good luck to everyone that's still there dealing with Indra's stupid direction.
Just found out today.. ALL support jobs going to India and Mexico. Most Cognizant contractors even those in training will be let go by July 1st.
Indra’s at it again.
I work in Winston and have not heard any about jobs going to India. The only dept that this could possibly affect would be IBM. They sure as heck aren’t sending sales or MEM to India.
"Most of the Winston jobs are moving to India" - what positions or department?
Are these PEP employees that are impacted? Or previously rebadged folks who are now IBM and IBM is shifting the roles to India?
Is anyone really surprised? Anti-American company.
Everyone was informed yesterday. Most of Winston jobs are moving to India also.
When did this happen? Or people were already informed and now the time has come where the work officially moves?
