These concessions should have been done before the apple case went to court. QCOM should have avoided escalating this dispute to the court
I don't think these concessions affect the iPhone royalties which I understand bare paid by the manufacturer foxconn and not Apple so the sales price is not what it sells for to the consumer but what Apple pays foxconn which I'm sure is already below the new cap.
