I can stand around all night and ponder how to fix a commercial account until a service shift starts, handcit off to them, and still collect a ton of premium pay! You gotta look at the bright side of things. The only way this stupid policy will change is to make them feel it in the paychecks!

What's more important, fixing the phone line in a deli or tracking a hard short affecting a power supply feeding a quad node? Oh that's right, we're supposed to do both! And quick, at that. Do these guys making the decisions here covertly work for Verizon or AT&T? Are they moles that were planted to sabotage operations? If so, they are killing it.

Can anyone tell us what was said in that meeting? Did they say that CT is the testing ground and it is going to move throughout the entire company? Why did they put it in place in CT? This is just absurd to not only take the work from the service department but to possibly put an outage in total jeopardy because of one customer. I don't carry phone tools, or a laptop look into static or sip calls.

As far as being Company wide .. Well it started here in Ct/Hv now it’s spreading all over ...,so to combat this we will show the what’s it like to operate in USA !!! We will no longer be abused and have all of what we worked for taken any longer ... we are all going to join our brothers and sisters in a Unified Union of power and our freedom to chose what we want !!!!

Union , Union !!!!! This was the last straw for me !!!!! It’s just out of control this cost cutting measure will hurt more than it helps ... which ever corporate fool came up with this idea really needs to be fired ...,Sending untrained Techs into Business accounts is a bad Customer experience plain and simple ...

Union is sounding better everyday. This is getting out of hand. They had put OSP as non customer facing employees. I guess when it is convenient for the company then they change their minds. They will make these customers very unhappy when the osp tech cannot fix their crucial problem.

Im super happy. No more stand by. Was slace labor anyway. Call you out at 9 am give you 7 calls. Then call back out at 630 for 3 more. They abused a system for emergencies. I do feel bad for osp. Some of those guys do fiber an plant work. Now altice one t.c.'s good luck with that

Stop crying, atleast you getting paid good money. You still have people making minimum grade 12 money with NO potential in any growth. I’d rather be in your shoes.
