No it is not over! Managers are being terminated for not making sales quotas regardless the fact of outside factors effecting sales in the community. It does not matter how well you ran the store and years of experience.
Has anybody heard more about this?
thay are cutting hours and jobs now. seems as if you have any longevity on either sally/ bsg side you could be terminated because you might be finally making your way to a decent wage
So is this happening only on the Sally Beauty side or is it going to be the Beauty Systems Group (Cosmoprof) side as well? I have been worried since the layoff at the corp office a few months back. but during a conference call after the layoff happened they "blew smoke" up our a-- to try and reassure us we all were safe. Which I get why. . . because they dont want all the people in store to start looking for jobs and leaving and then the company would really be hurting because no one would be in the store to run them. Then they would have to close stores at that point.
I think that it is down right sneaky that the people on the front lines so to speak are the people who will be the last to know. They need to think about the fact that some of us have mortgages and car payment and basic living expenses as well and keeping us in the dark is far worse. I wonder if there is a way to sue for something like this.
