I was at my 15th year when I was fired. For months there was an increasing level of insurmountable pressure put on me; no-win scenarios and expectations nobody could endure successfilly.
I knew it was coming, so I dug in my heels---15 years is a long time, and the tendency is to fight--and that was when they fabricated cases on me, such that I couldn't possibly fight back. However, because they were complete unprovable lies, I got all my unemployment (Walmart is notirious for successfully blocking claims), even tho they fought me twice.
So yeah, reading this post (and keeping in touch with friends still 'inside'), I can believe things are getting wretched in those stores. I got very lucky and blessed. The unemployment and cashed out stock purchase $$ paid for the education in my new career----I only wish I'd left years ago on my own recourse.
To those if you working there and suffering all this, my prayers for you. If you can, find a way to jump ship!
God bless
P.S.: The co manager who targeted me was himself recently displaced. Positive karma thus restored :)
