From what I am hearing, Devon is having significant layoffs today and tomorrow.
More people in the industry left without a job means bigger competition for the few jobs that do show up occasionally.
Instead of taking advantage of growing oil prices, this whole industry is in shambles.

Digital transformation means the autobots are taking your job or your getting outsourced. Beware accounting, IT is just the start. Your next. HR doesn’t exist anymore. Rise of the contractors, robots and outsourcing. They better find a way to keep the mood elevator high as you build your replacement or train them. Smile while you replace your own job.
