If SM to be the CEO, why would/should NXP leadership/CEO report into him ?

If SM is axes and a new CEO (outsider/insider) is brought in place, NXP CEO wont like it.

If NXP CEO become the new CEO, QC leadership is a toast.
Which ever way we go, we are in a mess.
