Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

NCR closing two plants in the U.S.

Most of you know this already, but here it is once more - NCR is closing both of its Columbus plants. This is costing more than 1,000 good people their jobs. What's new, right?

Well, at least for once we are not the only ones being hit, as another plant in China is being closed. That's nice change of pace.

Of course they did, after I was laid off and back looking for a job after 24 years at Ncr company’s when I apply tell me that I have allot of experience and want to pay me my 1995 salary. Sure I know I’ll take a pay cut to start over but less than half?

Ncr is so iNCRcrediable. I read the article. Oh we will help them with career placement,

Oh I’m sure with their experience they will be just fine. Worthless spineless management. I remember when they would try to place you in another position because of that experience. I bet What’s missing in the article is they just really outsourcing to a lower paying vendor to repair.
