GOM was run by Bunch of stupid “managers”. I remember one of them, her job was to put makeup and walk the corridor all day long. It was so obvious that they are destined to fail. Although there was one technical advisor BS, who is really technically sound, but eventually they moved him to EF.
Bottom line, Nothing good is going to happen when you have bunch of morons calling the shots.
So disappointing that certain ELT members are still there since they are protecting so many of their worthless buddies that report to them.
I am happy that oil prices are up so that I can ditch most of my COP stock, but wish it had stayed lower a little longer so that forced management cuts would have happened (maybe!?)
There is no doubt, at this company you get rewarded for being a politician and not a scientist or engineer. Clueless a-- kiss technical and administrative supervisors or managers busy on bedding each other or just showing their stupidity daily. They bragged how Alaska is so important to the Company and "their" discoveries there. They didn't find those, smaller true independents did and they just bought or had surrounding acreage nearby. So clueless in Alaska for over 50 years until others showed them where the oil was. Just like we were going to be the most successful company exploring the GOM a few years ago. Funny how that turned out isn't it? Don't even hear the GOM mentioned anymore. What an embarrassment this company is.
