The 6 weeks of not having to go into the office is called the “garden leave” . Apparently it’s customary in the Netherlands so it was adopted by QC recently

-yoy here... Last regular paycheck is after RSU vesting date ( May 20th, which is a Sunday, they use previous close price, May 18th.) Somewhere around May 21-23rd we get our last regular paycheck. QC doesn’t want lawsuits by shortchanging terms on RSU vesting. Then no payout until June 19th plus 35 days. So I guess we are really paid for not going to work between May 7 thru May 21-ish?

What is the difference between last pay day and termination date?

I thought MAy21 was a mistake from my manager, since the agreement says June19

It s---s, the company gives you RSU for past performance bonus then they steal it from you on the way out. Execs must be laughing now. Plus the government decides to screw you on the wait with bonus taxes on your severance.

Laid off in September 2015. It was mandatory that all who were laid off had to show up to work, and work our regular jobs, until the last day of November 20th.

Will you receive your regular pay until June 19th (your termination date), even though you won't be going to work after May 4th?
