Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

What If? Why Not?

What if Mattel were robbed by its own CEO?

Why not do it all again with someone new who's never worked in the toy business?

What if Mattel systematically shut down offices, manufacturing plants and call centers?

Why not just call this process "transformation" and pretend it's not a sign of the end?

What if the stock and revenue just continue to slowly drop until they cease to exist?

Why not continue with the same strategy that has put the company in this dire position?

What if Mattel can't pay its debts and high interest loans?

Why not take on more debt from "Peter" to pay "Paul"?

What if the empolyees of Mattel staged a coup?

Why not?

Mattel is like an alcoholic that thinks changing drinks will get them sober.
