Not fair to pick on H1Bs. The biggest under performers are at E level.
My team got hit with 2 citizens, one of them a Veteran... Rrst if the team on H1B. All proven to do the same work. Only citizens get booted. But then again managment is prob also H1B...so go figure...almost 20years at Q. Truely disappointed...
How many H1Bs were underperformers compared to the US citizens in the same team?? That's the question to be asked..
In my team all 3 were on H1b
We do not consider immigration status - just the performance and future needs of the organization - >while deciding who should stay/leave. It has always been that way in Q.
Sh--ty company. Lays off Americans and keeps the H1B slaves; will lay off slaves weeks before their green card arrives. Cheapest way to do it. Shareholder value wins ! Morals loose.
Dosa places!!
And Irish pubs

ALL layoffs should be from H1B's, period.
Eventually the company has to report who they are no longer sponsoring on H1-B, but you won’t see it as a statistic, unless you compare total year to year employment of H1-B holders for the company.
About 50% h1b in our team. Whole team got axed.
mostly green card holders and citizens
Q will do everything in its power and more to avoid disclosing this sort of info.
TRUMP should demand it. Those running for elected office in SD should demand it.
