I am not a Qualcomm employee but I have been laid off in the past from other places and know the ups and downs of what employees in the RIF position go through. I've experienced RIFs more than once but had the drive to move on.
Trust me, sometimes being forced to look elsewhere is a good thing if you can sum up your drive to move on and work towards it. I have been through evening coursework via extension programs, aggressively prepared for job interviews, it's not easy, but in life nothing is easy. Been there, experienced it.
I read about Qualcomm layoffs and just want to help.
