Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Looks like the entire Sydney office is gone.

This team earned an order of magnitude more than they cost. Looks like Q is cutting earnings more than expenses. Just like last time, as the numbers have shown.

Too bad Ireland IT is gone. Only real help for IT issues in early morning, plus, they were always pleasurable to talk to. The goons from India do IT support are worthless.

They did a lot of data analytics stuff, and helped with flagship project, Avante. All of the people I’ve got to work with were very capable and proof that the 10x engineers exists. They will go and either create their own companies or make big things at other big companies. Sad Qualcomm let go such a brilliant team... priorities are a little messed up from what I see.

Another example of the BOD and exec staff and their screwed up dumb a-- thinking. Clueless donkeys with their never ending missteps have all but ruined a jewel.

Any other overseas office info ? Europe ? I would think EU is looking ripe for cost cutting ahead of NXP.
