Apparently we won’t receive any clear understanding of the L & D cuts. Did they cut all positions outside BL and hubs? Anyone know the actual numbers? Now there are 50 job postings? What is going on with those jobs?

First of all, all of the L and D people had to choose from a Drop Down menu of their choices for where they wanted to be considered. Many people that were not in a hub chose not mobile. People thought that If you are not mobile you would not get a job because all of L and D would be in the hubs.
Many of these people that clearly indicated that they were not mobile received job offers anyway. They knew these people weren't interested but offered them anyway. Thus, taking jobs away from people who are very experienced, competent and valuable.
Very few people were offered jobs. On a conference call to all of L and D the director explained how they went through each person's competencies. Then he went on to say that the people not chosen did not have the aptitude to learn. It was extremely degrading. He said all of this and on several occasions laughed during the presentation.
Hearing this, sooooo.....glad I didn't post for one of the "future state" L&D roles posted out on MyBlock. What in the world is this company doing?!?
They cut people everywhere. Even Blono and the hubs. Didn’t matter. Only 2 directors, 5 managers, and about 30 pride tech have jobs now. Whole dept wiped out. All sitting in cubes and offices until Aug 31 while these jobs are posted and we were told sorry, you’re out. With no explanation. Those info calls are a JOKE. It’s not new teams and they aren’t understaffed roles. It’s a dept without a clue right now. No plan to actually move to future state not communicate any of this mess to the business partners. Falling apart at the seams.
