Since this position has been eliminated why are they still given scheduling options? Mngt still empowers them to manage other csm why? Why are they still coming in when they feel like it and not following their current schedule? Why aren't mngt enforcing current job role? Any thoughts

It's happening all over this company. When positions are eliminated you still have a mind set of still actually being empowered to do so that's how we create this behavior it's because mngt allows this to happen.

Dysfunctionality! You said a mouthful! I for one, am GLAD my ex Z had scheduling options. She did the work of the ASM and now there's going to be some rough patches ahead. Once SMART goes away in like 2 weeks, that's it. Customer First is on the WIRE and from what I've heard, few if any changes can be made without raising red flags at the market office. We all had to fill out 'true' availability forms and were told if narrow then not to expect much. We are allowed to pick up open shifts in various areas that are short so that will help. I was the O/N CSM before it was eliminated by us closing at midnight. I did more things non front end related for mgt that it doesn't bother me to work other areas as long as my base is CSM pay.

Chill out...it will happen, transition is the key. Most CSM's can not function without a manager directly over them anyway. If you are doing your job you will not have time to worry about what that person is doing.

Walmart is a rogue company!

Every store is dysfunctional in their own way! They never follow company policy or programs. They should take the power away from the store manager and close the loopholes. The people that are higher up are a joke.
