Disclosure: a competitor company employee post... Can somebody here please give me a succinct explanation of what's happening at Qualcomm right now? I've been through dozens of posts here, but they are all over the place and I can't put together a complete picture. Thanks!!!

Per Bloomberg today:
The cellular technology giant employs about 13,000 workers in San Diego and 33,800 globally. Fifty-two percent of its workforce is based in the U.S. The remainder are employed overseas.

Stick with Intel, they have a more juicy board and tons of scandals exposed here on layoffs dot com
