I agree with the last comment .perception is everything to them .hell i think they would do just about anything to maintain their image. However for those who know it is a facade.
Irwin was a guy who would smile to your face then stab you in the back, for money. There were plenty of people that helped him become a billionaire that he totally screwed. Irwin did care about perceptions though, so he kept Qualcomm a good place to work, as far as public perception went.
Paul is just a good time guy, born with a silver spoon, just wants to milk the business his daddy gave him, with no real hunger to excel.
Paul treats the employees well but is an idiot strategically.
Irwin is an all-around genius.
He will be too late to stop the rot.
No more parrallel R&D efforts, short term goals only, with nothing but 5G and closely related to matter now. Everybody else inside Q dispensible.
