Dell is considering to buy Avaya. Most likely acquisition news will be officially announced by end of this month if everything goes well. Congratulations, we will be in safe hands now.

Avaya is old now, it is dying its natural death. Every dog has his day. Trying to sustain by repackaging it's products, but will not stay long as competitors are young, dynamic, innovative and financially healthy.

Which company is left in the list - first someone told MSFT, then HP, then BB and now Dell. First move from hardware to software services, then within overnight becomes AI , cloud communication, so what next ? I guess change for the sake of changing is the new trend in technology.

Yeah most likely! Dell is lacking communications portfolio. Dell Avaya merger would be mutually beneficial for both.

Really, I thought Dell was taken over by Silver Lake Partnership. The same group the bought out Avaya years ago and ran it into the ground.
