Layoffs are no longer needed at Citrix as voluntary attrition is taking care of the problem.
So much what @SsEhPhf-7lel said. So many people are leaving Citrix on their own volition that the very idea of more layoffs makes absolutely no sense to me anymore, especially since so many jobs are left vacant after a person leaves.
Who will be left if they add layoffs into the mix?
The best decision I made in my life was to take the hit and move out of Florida. The culture is toxic and the fear of losing the job and having a mortgage is not worth it. Yes, I saved more money in Florida but I became a servant to Citrix -- how many people have been here for 10+ years? They never move and become comfortable and don't catch up on new technologies.
Why are all the tech companies in Seattle or SF Bay Area?
I agree with the original poster. Although one should never underestimate the short-sightedness of Citrix's leadership, it's hard to see why any major layoffs would be needed when there are currently 521 open positions posted on the Citrix jobs website.
Lots of good people continue to leave the company voluntarily because employees have much better opportunities elsewhere.
Citrix has a lot of potential with its products--but unfortunately this potential won't be realized with the current leadership and organization.
I know of one team in SC that has lost 6 people who quit in the last 6 months.

Is citrix he only company in Raleigh?? If so then I'd understand your frustration. Otherwise, go work somewhere else. Those with 10+ years are very likely waiting for a severance. If that's not your case, gets to job hunting!
Remember: Only an idiot stays in a company where he/she is not valued. In this context you must think, are you being treated accurately? ;)
I sharefile people are leaving because morons from FL took over pretty much everything and make us feel and talk to us like we are idiots. Most or all of them have been at citrix for 10,15,20 years and have no idea what works in the real world.
