GA’s are gone now on to the PBB the astl’s should be doing that job!
man I remember when stores had an accountant..lol...now you got the forklift driver handling the mans moneys..
As a former SSS. Tagnetics are going away and being replaced with paper tags. ESL tags are expensive at about $4 a pop, plus a yearly maintenance fee each year per store. SSS are scheduled 25 hours max, while GA’s are scheduled 40 hours. (Makes absolutely no sense as SSS take care of the majority of pricing—I did) while GA’s walk around with a paint brush in one hand and a lollipop in the other. I am truly glad I left Whole Foods I don’t bring work or stress with me each day.
Even with electronic tags they need to be audited to make sure they are updating correctly. Receiving is necessary but only one receiver is really needed. Sign making is asked to do special display projects all the time.
I've been told my job is going away "any day now" for the past two years. it may happen eventually, but I'm not worried it's any time soon. Receivers on the other hand will never go away. Every grocery store on the planet has a receiver.
SOP for sale change starts in two weeks for many stores. ALL SALE SIGNS AND TAGS must be hung before store opens.. teams must pass with a 99.5 percent
Our store spent almost 40k in printing last year.. 18 cents for a black and white and 24 cents for a color page.. it adds up with flexprint.
I'm not talking about Tagnetics.. the new ones the 365 stores are using . They ate putting them in stores now and have more planned.
We no longer use electronic tags...paper is cheap. Amazon is cheap.
The ESL's in SP are already a failure. Turn sale on a day early, break off the shelf, put ESL in wrong spot..
Really? Receivers?
Go ahead and bring me an example of an industry that does not have a billing, shipping and receiving department in its facilities. No, really, I'll wait right here.
