CA said there would be lay offs. First the temps/contractors will go, followed by the re-orgs we are seeing now. Some jobs will be transitioned to QIPL, especially if there are redundancies. This will condense the workforce, and provide a certain amount of cost savings. Then will come lay-offs. Typically dedundant positions, the very expensive, and low producers go. There is always some nepotism, but this could lead to lawsuits, so it’s hard to say. The departments not largely hit during the last two layoffs will see the largest cuts. This will be done Internationally to avoid fines from the US Govt, and will affect all Qualcomm offices as a means to trimming budgets. To meet requirements for WARN, notices will be given in the next week or so if the May vesting date is set to be targeted final day.

The made up data group need more resources to fabricate information. When you have $$$ from licensing, everyone else can survive by making sh-- up and putting it on PPT.
