as fresher i find the whole IT services careers in india means slavery, i resigned after being assigned to spooky support project in outdated tech, no timings, understaffed and constant criticism and cant take leave and must work on weekends and no training.

staying on just to have job means ruining ones career and life and future as i will be at the mercy of some bad and frustrated manager, who will hire new batch of fresher at low pay and fire old ones after labelling as outdated.

these IT services are ruining youngsters in India to satisfy bad and spooky clients in USA

the reason for hiring freshers is get the low end work done at low cost, to keep the cost of doing low end support and testing work low it is essential to layoff 5 year old folks and add new batch of freshers at low pay and increase the work hours and impose weekend working for bad working conditions freshers are best suited.

it takes about two years for average freshers to realize he/she is in dead end role, and other one or two years minimum to reorient himself and find new job...

those who cant escape get fired labelled as ones with outdated skill

by that time new batch of freshers trained in outdated tech is ready

it is bad practice he work place pressure due to overloading is leading to break down of personal and family relationships especially illicit relationships are on the rise and exploitative by other family member as the IT pro spends month with out break in office in understaffed projects, with ever increasing demands for more productivity( or which there is no benchmark)

it is not about pay.. or being nice.... it is about risk to career... as campus hire with no control over proejct assingment once u get holed up in wrong track(mainframe and legacy support testing etc) the nassom cartel wont allow yuo change to better technology track from support and testing... you quit and get trained in new tech... they cite gap and prevent you from getting hired on flimsy reasons

Remember it is always demand/supply. If there is more demand, corporations will be nice or pay more.
