Let me share my decade long experience with all you “Farmers”. I graduated from Wesleyan in 2007. I decided to stay in Blono and took a job, you guessed it, somewhere other than the farm. The next few years of meeting anyone, anywhere, was usually accompanied with the question of, do you work at the farm? My subsequent answer of no was followed by a look of superiority, and then a look of pity with some variation of the question, could you not get in? I can help you, etc... no thanks! My job is great and State Farm is not the only employer in town if you aren’t in the medical profession! And guess what folks! I still have a job!!! It’s OVER Farmers!!!!!! Toodles!!

I was laid off from State Farm in the last round. I was making around 100K. Happy to report I was just offered a job for 140K + bonuses. So no, it's not all doom and gloom. State Farm has been a hell hole for a while now and this is a good opportunity to get out there and see what you can accomplish someplace else, where chances are you'll be a lot happier.
Don't let this anonymous troll get you down. He's got like 15 alter-egos and enjoys talking to himself.
Pretty sure this is trending on Twitter now #turdscramble and if it's not it should be. I'll have the turd scramble for a party of 900 please. Order up SF!
I literally shed tears I laughed so hard at the Thunderdome comment. I wish they'd just put a Thunderdome in the Corp South atrium and let the fatties go at it. They would finally have to do some work and boy would they ever. 99% know they will never see a paycheck even close to what they are making.
They called it “ grazin”. Had cute little chubby cartoon cow.
Because Dignity
And “bubble a--” isn’t considered polite, no matter how true.
"fat losers piling their lunch trays on founders day. That place was one giant toilet in dire need of being flushed. " Awesome hahahahaha" Tough to survive Thunderdome after that third ham and cheese
This is the best thread i have seen in a while. Bravo BYE FELICIA. You are my hero. And all the people that feel the same way. High fives all around. You state farmers are done. Set your housese on fire now. At very least you will get insurance money. Because your housing value is dropping by the minute. Have fun selling all that crap you didnt need. No one will buy it for what you paid. Pennies on the dollar of everything you own. You are officially ruined. Go you
I worked there for 13 years. I left voluntarily 6 years ago. I have a lot of friends still working there. We are all laughing at all of you turds scrambling and crying. We read this blog and are dying. That place was like a welfare system. You literally just had to show up and do nothing. The jobs they created internally were soo hilarious. Out here in the real world it's your job to keep yourself marketable. StateFarm fooled you into thinking they owed you something. My only regret is that I'm not there now to see all the turds scrambling around. I bet there aren't large groups in the break areas playing backgammon anymore or fat losers piling their lunch trays on founders day. That place was one giant toilet in dire need of being flushed. THANK BABY JESUS!!!
Don’t you all understand you are proving OP right??
Who gives a sh--? This is the internet. The entire purpose of the internet is to not only sink to the level of your opponents, but to sink way beneath it. I mean, as low as you can go. For those of us on VPNs, we're one tick away from saying the most egregious things about your family members.
Not because we do or don't work for State Farm. Not because we do or don't live in Bloomington.
But because this is America Goddamnit and I have the internet-given right to browse anonymously and be a huge f---ing a--hole.
Don’t you all understand you are proving OP right?? Whoever this person is, was trying to get a reaction out of you and it worked. And you all have sunk to his/her level if not worse. Acting as they said, better.... “couldn’t get in”? That’s typical SF mentality.... and I’m not hating on SF Bc i too work there and am scared of losing my job. I doubt whoever wrote this bothered to come back and even check the comments but if they did i bet we would get a smug reply for sinking to their level and a “told you so”. Stay classy people geez.
What a f---ing b--ch
you took a job somewhere other than the Farm because you couldn't get in. you are a small, weak minded individual....
I work at a hub and the people that relo’d from Bloomington are what some might call ‘big gulp Americans’
Wow, what a childish post.
The OP must think that liberal arts degrees are useful. Ha ha ha
BYE, FELICIA!
Wishing bad things on people you don’t know because they work for a company that you don’t like says more about your pathetic life than it does about State Farm or it’s employees.
People in this town have a really creepy obsession with State Farm. It’s like politics; they blame everything bad in life on big, evil State Farm- gas prices, grocery prices, traffic, potholes... it’s really sad.
Love this. Lolololol. Im with you
Felicia karma awaits you.
The fact you kept your employer anonymous speaks volumes. You are one sad pitiful person.
Wow. The hate is palpable. I feel sorry for you. I don't work for SF but live in Bloomington-Normal. I have never felt that from my may State Farm friends. No job is safe and I pray you don't go through an involuntary job change as it is potentially catastrophic for individuals, families, and communities alike.
OP: Alot of truth in what you shared. My spouse and I both work at the farm and are proud to live out of town. Attitudes of SOME farmers is toxic for sure, and getting out of BLONO works well for us.
If belittling SF employees makes you happy that is sad, like others have posted I am thankful not to work with you
OP: Nobody cares about your "decades long" experience. People have bigger things to worry about than your strange little inferiority complex.
This clown has been posting stuff all over this forum. I guessed his game weeks ago.
What a weird little obsession you have. And what a low human being you are to gloat when people are going through emotional hardship, as if somehow everyone working at State Farm has committed some personal transgression against you.
I don't even work in Bloomington. I personally would never want to live in Bloomington, partly because I don't want to be so dependent on my employer. Strange how you've become emotionally codependent on an employer you don't even work for.
Think about that one for a second. It's f---ing strange.
Jesus show me on the doll where Tipsord touched you. You'vr got such an inferiority complex that you see this as a moment to try to make yourself feel better at the cost of the few people who may lose their jobs at State Farm?. This is sad. Maybe if you actually we're a better person and had some friends you might know some people you have empathy for that are being affected.
Dear OP, you are a sad little person who lacks empathy and understanding. I am glad I never had to work with you as a peer. I hope someday you look in the mirror and realize your hate and animosity will only take you down.
Awwww does sh--ting on State Farmers make you feel better? What a tool
Somebody has a sense of superiority.
