Submitted letter of resignation this week after bonuses were paid out. After decades of service I feel no regrets, at all. Not a one.... It is too bad that they didn't let me go earlier in February, after having asked for it, to save the job of younger colleagues with kids and mortgages. I guess it stands that they wouldn't though, as what I asked for was completely logical and made sense?
To those worker bees left behind, I wish you good luck and all the best. To the remaining managers and executive I counsel you to actually listen to your employees. It can save the company and help fix all of the poor mistakes made over the last several years.
Sigh. So sad.
