I've come to relish weekends because it's the only time I'm not completely in knots over whether I'll be laid off or fired that day or not. How sad is that?
It doesn't look like we will get any other reprieve from Walmart any time soon, which is sad in itself. Maybe it really is time to try and move on on my own...
You hit upon a dose of reality, at least in the HO. I felt the same way until I left for greener pastures in September. I would be worried about keeping my job during the week. The only moment of peace from lack of worry was when I slept. Then I would go home on Friday with a sense of relief that I was able to keep my job for another week. I forget about WM on Saturday and try to enjoy life. Then on Sunday evening that sense of dread would wash over like a wave wondering if I would make it through another week. Lather, rinse and repeat....
