It would be nice if John Mackey would address the problems with OTS! Does he not realize how negative a culture Whole Foods is becoming?? Wake up and start listening to those at the store level!

Lol at Mackey saving us. He doesn’t do squat for the company. He’s a useless figurehead better off lining his pockets without having to lift a finger. Oh wait, I forget we are supposed to be grateful because he only gives himself $1 salary.
Yes, I'd say regional and the higher ups need to spend some time in the stores and deal with the daily complaints from customers. The customers are letting their frustrations be known and we're left standing there with no real answer to their questions. We're taking the heat due to the poor decisions at the top!
They just eased up on some of the OTS rules at my store. I am sure the negative media attention and constant customer b--ching had nothing to do with it though.
He stopped listening to the stores years ago- that's when things started heading the wrong way. He put too much faith in his executives who were busy lying and trying to look good so they could continue to fill their personal coffers. Real Harvard Business School example of having a dynamic idea crumble for all the wrong reasons!!
