When are the muckety-mucks going to start paying taxes in this town. I mean come on; you walk away with millions of dollars. And expect the peasants to pay their property tax,but you don't own a dime. I guess that's the American way. Personally I can't wait to get out of this town I've had enough.
Much lower property-tax ,obviously they don't have a bunch of crooks running a amok.

One is a vibrant city of 167, 000 that hosts the world headquarters of the outdoor giant Bass Pro. The other is soon to be a ghost town.

Not sure what you are wanting to compare, but it would be hard to compare unless the poster spent considerable time in each city. I'm not sure either a BP employee visiting Sidney, or a Cabelas employee visiting Springfield can make a unbiased opinion about either city. I guess I would question the original poster what is your opinion, then people could comment whether they agree or disagree.....
