Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

Bless those good who were let go.

Lost seven managers today at my local store. Most actually treated you like you were human. It's only a matter of time till the rest of the sh-- trickles down.

We lost 7 people. One guy had worked for 18 years with the company and moved out here when the store opened up 15 years ago. They walked out all of them.

Kansas City Kansas (store 8) was hit and had quite a few managers working 7+ years get fired. They were the life of the company. So sad and not necessary.

"Denver corp and Sidney corp are still ok. maybe the storm will miss them"

What are you basing that wild speculation on. Or is this just positive thinking.

There's a train barrelling down the tracks...and Sidney is tied to the tracks...me thinks this is goin to end badly. No amount of positive thinking is going to change that.

Don’t know about Denver Corp. But for Sidney conference rooms are booked for the mid-February blood letting. Has always been the trend. Your called down to meet with HR and then gone.

How many stores have been hit so far? Which ones are they?

The storm will hit corporate and Denver. This has been discussed several times. Why does BP need two of everything??? They don’t! It will happen. Why do you think everyone is leaving Sidney/corporate at an alarming rate? No reason to stay on a sinking ship, that’s why!
